For sixteen years we've been converting petrol motors to LPG in the Bairnsdale area . Recently we've expanded this service to encompass diesel powered vehicles. This has resulted in better fuel economy for our clients, and in most cases increases in power.
There is currently a Government Rebate system which is available to privately registered vehicles. This rebate offers vehicle owners a $1750 subsidy when they convert an existing gas or petrol engine to LPG, or $1000 when they purchase a new car already fitted with an LPG conversion.
